Earlier it was reported that Jovenel Moise was fatally wounded as a result of an attack by unknown people on his residence. The incident occurred at about 01:00 local time. A group of intruders, some of whom spoke Spanish, broke into the private residence of the head of state. Later, Moise's wife died of her injuries in the hospital.
