OREANDA-NEWS The Ministry of Transport has prepared a draft government decree, which wants to oblige airlines to provide comprehensive data on international flights prior to departure to identify security threats.

Airlines will be obliged to provide detailed information about each international flight and its passengers no later than half an hour before departure. In case of detection of a threat to the country's security, the Federal Air Navigation Agency, at the request of the FSB, will have to cancel the flight abroad that caused suspicion to the special services. This is reported by Kommersant with reference to the draft resolution of the Ministry of Transport.

It follows from it that the FSB will be interested in the number and nationality of crew members and passengers, cargo, flight schedule, indicating landing points, estimated time of entry and exit from the airspace of Russia and other states. If the company violates this procedure of inspections again, then it can be deprived of the right to perform international flights for a month, if three or more violations are allowed - the license will be revoked from it for at least a year.
