OREANDA-NEWS. The amount of flights between Moscow and Minsk is increasing to 20 per week, said Deputy Director General of the National Airport Minsk Vasily Kornev.

Earlier it was reported that Russia is increasing the amount of flights with Belarus on the Moscow-Minsk route up to 10 times a week on a reciprocal basis.

“Taking into account the meetings held between the President of the Republic of Belarus and the President of Russia, part of flights to Moscow is being restored. That is, the Russian airline Aeroflot is adding five flights, and Belavia is adding five more flights. That is, we will already have 20 flights a week to Moscow, "he said on the air of the Russia 24 TV channel.

Earlier it was reported that from June 10, the number of flights between Moscow and Belarus will be increased from 5 to 10 per week. Also, daily railway communication on the routes Gomel - Moscow and Polotsk - Moscow was resumed. The number of carriages on the Lastochka trains from Moscow to Minsk has been increased.

The General Director of Aeroflot, Mikhail Poluboyarinov, said that earlier there was also an increase in demand for flights between Moscow and Minsk, so it was decided to increase the number of flights.
