Ukrainian Military in a Hurry Fled from a Warship in Berdyansk

OREANDA-NEWS. The Ukrainian armed forces hurriedly left the warship in Berdyansk before the appearance of the Russian army. The Izvestia correspondent Mary Badunts spoke about the details of the incident.
The military of the Russian Federation examined the Ukrainian ship "Korets".
“A large number of small arms, explosives and signal mines, as well as heavy machine guns and ammunition for them, which would have been enough for many years of the defense of Berdyansk, were seized,” a Russian serviceman told Izvestia.
According to him, the Utes machine guns, which are capable of hitting manpower and equipment, are especially memorable.
The military noted that further weapons will be transferred to the Russian Security Service for further disposal.
The haste in which the Ukrainian soldiers left the ship is evidenced by a large number of abandoned food and notebooks, in which the notes break off in mid-sentence.
Earlier, on February 27, the Ministry of Defense announced a complete blockade of the cities of Kherson and Berdyansk. It was also reported that more than 470 Ukrainian soldiers in the Kharkiv region voluntarily laid down their arms and surrendered.
On February 28, Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the head of the office of the Ukrainian president, announced that the city of Berdyansk had been taken under the control of Russian troops.
