OREANDA-NEWS. President Kersti Kaljulaid congratulated the Republican Party's candidate for President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, on winning the presidential elections.

According to the Estonian Head of State, relations between Estonia and the United States of America can be characterised by excellent cooperation in many spheres and sectors, including defence and cyber security.

"The USA has been and will remain one of the most important allies and partners for Estonia. I am sure that under your leadership strong trans-Atlantic co-operation between the USA and Europe will continue," wrote President Kaljulaid in her letter of congratulations.
