OREANDA-NEWS Not a single euro must remain uncollected, nor hidden from the budget and you have to take responsibility, Prime Minister Duško Marković told earlier today heads of the Tax Administration, Customs Administration and the Inspection Administration, Miomir M. Mugoša, Vladan Joković and Božidar Vuksanović

The Prime Minister noted that he called the meeting to negotiate operational solutions in order to define a new approach of the state authorities responsible for the revenue side of the budget.

"The new approach should ensure that those who work are given incentives to further create," he stressed, adding that more determination, strength and joint efforts of the regulatory authorities should be demonstrated towards those who do not respect regulations and tax discipline.

The meeting agreed on the need for the urgent strengthening of the human resources of the Tax Administration, Administration for Inspection and the Customs Administration in the part concerning the fieldwork and the necessity to improve the current IT solutions in order to make the competent authorities better technically equipped for even more efficient operation. It was also agreed that the administrations in charge for the revenue side of the budget should propose concrete solutions as to all the administrative and regulatory barriers, so that they are eliminated within the shortest possible period.

The meeting was also attended by deputies, Zoran Pažin and Milutin Simović, and ministers of finance and economy, Darko Radunović and Dragica Sekulić.
