OREANDA-NEWS. The agrarian sector of Ukraine have ample opportunity to provide impetus to the development of Ukrainian farming, stressed Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a visit to the National Agriculture University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The Prime Minister added that currently one in six Ukrainian citizens is engaged in agrisector. On condition of providing loans and allocating land tenure rights, agrarians will form a powerful class.

“You shouldn’t be limited to thinking that the agricultural sector is what was planted, grown and sold. We should talk about the development of production, the domestic product. We must enter the markets of other countries”, said Volodymyr Groysman. “We have all necessary conditions for the development of domestic farming. If we empower the Ukrainian farmer to manage the land, plus support through loans – we will get investment in rural development.”
