OREANDA-NEWS. While in Ankara with official visit, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman reached agreements with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an to enhance economic cooperation between the two countries, in particular to implement a number of projects.

Increasing of collaboration between the two States in trade and economic sphere is viewed one of the key prerequisites for the successful development of strategic partnership, noted the Head of Ukrainian Government.

In this regard, Volodymyr Groysman noted that the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Turkey on mutually beneficial conditions would boost the trading process.

It is of the utmost importance to sign the renewed Agreement on the avoidance of double taxation and an Agreement on reciprocal protection of investment, stressed Volodymyr Groysman.

He also emphasized on the need to summon by the end of 2017 in Ankara the 11th meeting of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic Collaboration.

Moreover, the parties touched upon cooperation in the defense and aerospace industries.
