OREANDA-NEWS. At the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on Wednesday, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman presented the Government's Report for the II and III quarter of 2016.

Volodymyr Groysman reminded that after the formation of the new Cabinet of Ministers there had been developed a Plan of anti-crisis actions of the Government.

The Prime Minister stressed that among the topmost priorities for the Government is the development of the national economy, which will bring additional resource to reinvest into quality of life of Ukrainian citizens.

The Head of Government stressed that nowadays there is observed economic growth in Ukraine.

In particular, according to statistical data, industrial output grew by 2% in Ukraine after a long period of decline, construction production index upped by 11.9 %, there is observed slowing down of inflation processes: in nine months of 2016 - 6.4% as compared to 43.3 % in 2015.

Average monthly salary in January-August 2016 rose by 24.4 % and makes up UAH 4 944.

Moreover, investment volumes increased by over USD 2.5 billion, which exceeds by 19 % the corresponding period of last year.
