OREANDA-NEWS. The Mi-8 helicopter with 29 people on board made a hard landing in the Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. The Ministry of Emergency Situation reported: “The Mi-8, when landing, capsized on its side, 29 people were on board.”

TASS news agency with reference to the regional Ministry of Health reported that the number of injured in the incident is 15. “15 people asked for medical help, they were examined. Two people are hospitalized. The outpatient treatment was prescribed for the rest,” the journalists’ interlocutor said. Before that, speaking about six injured persons, the department noted that two of them were undergoing operations.

According to the West Siberian Transport Prosecutor’s Office and the Emergency Situations Ministry’s press service, a snowstorm could be the cause of the accident.
