According to an annual study of the consulting company Brand Finance, American online retailer Amazon took first place in the ranking of the most valuable brands in the world for the third year in a row. Its value grew over the year by 17.8 % and reached record 220.8 billion US dollars.

Google gained the second line, its value has grown by 11.9 % to 159.72 billion dollars. Apple is closing the top three, its value has decreased by 8.5 % and amounted to 140.52 billion dollars. They are followed by Microsoft (117.07 billion) and Samsung (94.49 billion dollars).

Among European companies, the highest, 11th place is occupied by Mercedes-Benz (65.04 billion dollars). In China, the most expensive brand is owned by Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (6th place, 80.79 billion dollars). Sberbank (139th place) remained the leader in brand value among Russian entities.
