OREANDA-NEWS. The City of Grants, New Mexico, unanimously approved an 8-year contract renewal with CH2M to provide Operations Management (OM) services for the city. By extending the contract, CH2M’s partnership with Grants will mark successes in wastewater utility and public works spanning 36 years.

“The City of Grants is pleased to renew and continue the long-time relationship with CH2M,” said Grants City Manager Laura Jaramillo. “After soliciting proposals for services, the evaluation committee for the City felt certain that CH2M was the most qualified applicant. We look forward to many more years of working together in partnership as we strive to provide the best possible services for the citizens of Grants.”

The relationship between Grants and CH2M began in 1988, and the scope of work has grown as trust and quality performance have remained steady. CH2M has operated and maintained Grants’ water production and distribution systems and the wastewater collection and treatment plant for more than 25 years. In addition, CH2M’s responsibilities include groundskeeping and landscaping services for the parks, cemeteries and other public areas, services that the company has managed since 2000.
