OREANDA-NEWS American actor David Hedison, who played CIA operative Felix Leiter in James Bond films, died in Los Angeles. It is reported by the newspaper Metro, citing the statement of the daughters of the artist on Tuesday, July 23.

“He loved us very much and expressed this love every day,” Hedison’s daughters Alexander and Serena said. The cause of death is not specified. The actor was 92 years old.

Hedison was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1927 into a family of Armenian immigrants. He starred in two Bond films - "Live and Let Die" in 1973 and "License to Kill" in 1989. The artist also played in the 1958 film Fly, the Other World series, Charlie's Angels and The Knight of the Roads.
