Buckingham Palace Reveals Prince Philip's Funeral Plan
It is noted that the sons of the prince and the queen, grandchildren, princes William and Harry, as well as other members of the royal family and employees of Prince Philip's court will follow the coffin, which will be carried in a Land Rover car personally designed by the Duke of Edinburgh.
The funeral procession will end at the chapel of St. George, where a small ceremony will be held, in which military representatives of the Commonwealth countries will participate. A minute of silence will be announced throughout the country at 15.00.
Then the coffin with the body of the deceased will be brought into the church, where the service will begin. In accordance with the rules for the prevention of coronavirus, 30 people will be admitted there: only representatives of the Windsor family and the personal secretary of Prince Philip Archie Miller-Bakewell.
The entire ceremony will be broadcast live.
Earlier it was reported that the late Prince Philip would be buried first in the chapel of St. George at Windsor Castle, but after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the two of them will be buried in the memorial chapel of George VI.
