The newspaper claims that airplanes with air defense systems will fly out on Tuesday from the air base in Tver to Turkey.

Earlier, Haberturk, citing sources, said that the loading of the C-400 to be sent to Turkey could begin on July 7. According to him, on Sunday it was planned to load the first installation into a transport plane for subsequent dispatch within a week. At the same time, until Monday, according to Haberturk, nine technical specialists from the Russian Federation will arrive in Turkey, who will be involved in the deployment of the systems. At the first stage, one complex will be delivered to Ankara, the channel notes.

The day before, Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan announced the start of loading the C-400 for shipment to Turkey. In this case, the Turkish leader refused to name the exact date of delivery of the systems. Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov on Monday stressed that Turkey’s deliveries of Russian anti-aircraft missile systems are going according to the contract.

The US is actively trying to prevent Turkey from buying the S-400. Earlier, Washington has already warned Ankara that, in the event of the acquisition of these weapons systems, the United States may refuse Turkey to sell F-35 fighter-bombers. The S-400 Triumph is a Russian long-range and medium-range anti-aircraft missile system. It's intended to destroy air attack and reconnaissance weapons and any other air targets under conditions of intense fire and electronic countermeasures.
