OREANDA-NEWS A resident of the British city of Stansted, Mary Emerson claims that she lived to be a hundred years old thanks to her favorite dish, sausages in a pastry.

It is noted that the British husband's husband died in 1976, and five years later she lost her sister. Despite this, she considers herself a healthy and happy person.

Emerson celebrated her anniversary on June 30th. Her daughter Katie described the mother as an independent person and a wonderful cook: "Her sausages in the dough always turned out very tasty."

In May, Muriel Barbara, a hundred-year-old resident of the city of Mosgil in New Zealand, called the secret of her longevity a good sleep, sports and healthy eating.

In early June, scientists from Denmark stated that the age of long-livers is growing in countries with a developed health care system.

Canadian researchers, in turn, linked the influence of emotions with the life expectancy of older people.
