OREANDA-NEWS  According to the researchers, the skeleton is well preserved. It was discovered at the end of May during the excavation period in Lufeng.  Scientists said it belongs to a dinosaur about eight meters long.

The team of experts said that in the near future they will be looking for the skull of this lufengosaurus. So far, they have studied the tail and thighs. The scientists note that they are dealing with a dinosaur that lived in the early Jurassic period. The head of the paleontological group said that this find is a real "national treasure".

Earlier, the diver discovered the bones of a creature that does not resemble any marine life. Perhaps these were the remains of a Tylosaurus, but experts do not still have a consensus, as "Reedus" writes. Earlier it was reported that archaeologists had found a new species of Mosasaurus in Morocco. The extinct sea lizard reached eight meters in length.
