OREANDA-NEWSBorders between European countries may be closed due to the coronavirus pandemic for another two years. This opinion was expressed in an interview with Czech television by the Deputy Minister of Health of the Czech Republic Roman Prymula. "We must be prepared for the fact that the situation in other European countries won't be favorable. It will last for months, maybe up to two years", he said.

His point of view was shared by the head of the Czech Ministry of Health, Adam Vojtech, fearing a possible second or even third wave of the coronavirus pandemic. "The point is that we do not have a second or third wave of the epidemic, so that people from countries like Italy, France, Spain or Germany don't begin to import coronavirus", he said. Holidays this year, Czech residents will have to spend in their country without going abroad, said Roman Prymula.

Since March 1, 1120 cases of coronavirus have been registered in the republic. A patient infected with coronavirus, who was 95 years old, died in Sunday in Prague in the hospital complex "On Bulovets", this case was the first death in the country.
