OREANDA-NEWS. Two Russian diplomats expelled from the Czech Republic left Prague on Sunday. This was reported by the website of the Czech newspaper with reference to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic Tomasz Petřicek.

According to the Czech Foreign Minister, diplomats flew to Moscow with an Aeroflot flight, which would arrive in the Russian capital at 23:50 Moscow time. On June 5, the Russian Embassy in Prague received a note from the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a notification about the expulsion from the republic of two employees of the diplomatic mission. Prior to this, Prime Minister Andrei Babish announced the recognition of diplomats as non grata at an emergency press conference.

According to him, the case about the delivery of ricin poison by a Russian diplomat to Prague, as the Czech media wrote against the backdrop of the scandal over the demolition of the monument to Marshal Ivan Konev, was completely fictitious.
