OREANDA-NEWS The Ukrainian government has decided to extend the emergency regime, as well as quarantine measures in the country until June 30. This information was announced by Prime Minister Denis Shmygal at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.

The government is extending the emergency regime and the quarantine regime in the country until June 30 - first of all, this applies to public authorities and their constant readiness to counter the pandemic.

In accordance with an earlier decision, the general quarantine and emergency regime expired on April 30.

Shmyhal said that at present, the situation with the pandemic in the country is stabilizing both in terms of an increase in the number of new cases, and in terms of the load on the medical system of Ukraine.

He also added that special prudence and compliance with the quarantine regime should be demonstrated during the May holidays, during Easter.
