OREANDA-NEWS. A gas tank caught fire in the Traktorozavodsky District of the Russian city of Volgograd. This was reported by Interfax news agency, citing representatives of the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia.

An informed source of the agency said that four people were injured. They were all taken to the hospital, and physicians assessed the condition of one of them as serious. “All four victims are firefighters. They received burns and were hospitalized, one of them is in serious condition,” journalists’ interlocutor reported.

TASS agency informs that the fire was registered by the regional department of the Emergency Situations Ministry at 12:40 local time (09:40 UTC). By the time the firefighters arrived at the scene, a tank with propane was on fire. It is known that firefighters work according to the increased, second rank of danger.
