"During the joint naval maneuvers of Iran, Russia and China, the Americans and their allies held an emergency meeting aimed at disrupting our exercises with our two allies", the agency Hanshirdi quoted as saying. However, according to him, thanks to the distracting maneuvers of the participants in the exercises, the Americans failed to implement their plan.

The joint four-day naval exercises of Russia, Iran and China, code-named "Marine Safety Belt" ended on December 30. They were held in the Indian Ocean and Gulf of Oman. Earlier, Hanzhan back indicated that, in his conviction, “there is no need for foreign forces in the region, and Iran is ready to cooperate with neighboring states on this issue”.
