Khan said that "due to the current restrictions, the country's citizens are suffering", so it was decided not to extend the isolation regime anymore. As of Wednesday, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection in Pakistan reached 23,214. In total, 544 deaths have been reported since the spread of the infection in the country, and 6,281 people have recovered.

In a pandemic, Pakistan closed its borders and suspended international flights, and a self-isolation regime was introduced in the country. Earlier it was reported that due to the restrictive measures in force, the poorest segments of the population, who were actually left without income, were most affected.
