“Friendship, dialogue, strengthening of bilateral cooperation and cultural exchange,” wrote Conte.

He admitted that during the meeting, he and Putin were able to strengthen the already strong relations between Italy and Russia.

“The friendship between Italy and Russia has great potential, which we must develop, day after day making efforts,” Conte continued.

According to him, they talked about crises in Libya, Syria, Venezuela and Ukraine.

"It is increasingly convinced that Moscow can play a leading role in resolving these crises," concluded Conte.
