Japan Begins the Vaccination of Citizens at Workplaces and Universities
13.7 million people have already applied for the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine as part of the current immunization phase. In Japan, three types of vaccines are approved for use: from the British-Swedish company AstraZeneca, the American Moderna, and the American-German consortium of Pfizer and BioNTech. AstraZeneca is not currently being used for vaccination.
Earlier IA REGNUM reported that Japan intends to encourage the issuance of special "vaccination passports", including their electronic version.
