OREANDA-NEWS The Japanese government intends to provide financial assistance to Kyoto Animation, whose animation studio was set on fire by an attacker.

The fire killed 35 people, another 30 are in the hospital, including the arsonist himself, according to Tass.

The Secretary General of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, Yoshihide Suga, stressed that the government will provide support to the company as soon as possible.

"We will contact the relevant ministries and departments regarding the payment of compensation to injured employees, as well as the allocation of funds for the renovation of the studio building," he said.

The attacker said that the studio allegedly appropriated his brilliant idea, for which he decided to take revenge.
