OREANDA-NEWS. Iraqi agency Alforat News reported without reference to the source that in the Iraqi governorate of Al Anbar, the airplane C-27 J Spartan of the US Air Force crashed. According to the publication, four people were on board, all of them died.

The day before, on January 28, Iraq Newspaper wrote about the plane crash and the death of four crew members, citing a correspondent.

Neither Iraqi nor American authorities have yet given official comments on this information.

This week, the Bombardier E-11A military aircraft crashed in Afghanistan, two crew members died. At first it was supposed that it was a passenger plane; later the US Department of Defense confirmed that it was owned by American army. Responsibility for the crash was claimed by militants of the fundamentalist organization Taliban. At the same time, the US military said that there was no evidence of the fact that the plane was hit by enemy fire.
