OREANDA-NEWSRussian Ambassador to Havana Andrei Guskov and Cuban Foreign Minister and Foreign Investment Rodrigo Malmierka on Monday opened the Russian pavilion at the 37th FIHAV-2019 International Diversified Exhibition-Fair, which has become a platform for 12 Russian companies that are already working plan to expand their presence on the island.

The Russian exposition included, in particular, a group of electric machine-building companies Ruselprom; company "Chetra", specializing in heavy equipment; carrier Polar Trans; international transport and logistics operator Nordline Logistics; software developer JSC "Sphere"; manufacturer of rolling stock for railways RM Rail, Russian Railways, KamAZ and others.

“In recent years, the presence of Russian companies at international exhibitions in Havana has increased, and this indicates that our relations have generally strengthened. Such development of bilateral cooperation shows us that we aren't going to succumb to pressure and will strengthen relations, we won't be able to impose politics of isolation, Russian Trade Representative in Cuba Alexander Bogatyr told the Russian media. “We hope that trade and economic cooperation between Russia and Cuba will help improve the living standards of the Cuban people”.
