OREANDA-NEWS Every day, over 2,000 people die in Brazil due to the consequences of the coronavirus, and, according to experts, the second wave of coronavirus smoothly turns into the third. Currently, only 11% of the country's population have completed the full course of vaccination.

Despite the current situation, shops and restaurants are open in big cities. However, in most Brazilian states, about 80% of hospital beds are occupied.

"Compared to other countries, we did exactly the opposite in the fight against the pandemic. We have one of the best health systems in the world, but we have diagnosed a large number of deaths. That's enough to prove how bad our strategy was" , - said civil engineer Luis Enrique.

Brazil is the second country with the largest number of people infected with Covid-19 in the world - more than 12.6 million.
