OREANDA-NEWS. British organization The Economist Intelligence Unit and the Economist magazine ranked 40 safest cities in the world – Moscow took it 37th place.

Tokyo took the first place. The list also leads the cities of the Asia-Pacific region: Singapore, Osaka, Sydney and Seoul. In addition, the top ten included Amsterdam, Toronto, Washington and Copenhagen.

As noted, to compile the list, experts analyzed 60 major cities of the world on 57 different indicators (digital security, health security, infrastructure, as well as personal security, etc.).

Digital security Moscow was at 54th place, according to health — 30-m, security infrastructure — 32-m, on the personal security of citizens — 39th.
