OREANDA-NEWS Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Moscow is ready to help conclude a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, reported by TASS.

Lavrov stressed that final agreements on the normalization of relations between Yerevan and Baku will be reached. For its part, Russia welcomes the conclusion of a peace treaty and is ready to help. The Russian foreign minister also invited his colleague, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to visit Russia.

Earlier, Turkish and Azerbaijani defense ministers Hulusi Akar and Zakir Hasanov met in the province of Izmir, where the two countries are holding joint exercises EFES-2022. During the meeting, the politicians discussed bilateral and regional cooperation in defense, security and military training.

In turn, Armenia also agreed on military cooperation with Greece and Cyprus. During the meeting in Yerevan, the parties signed several agreements, including the Armenia-Greece bilateral military cooperation program for 2022.
