OREANDA-NEWSYandex has prepared a study in which it evaluated how different cities in the world are gradually emerging from self-isolation. The activity of people on the streets of Moscow on May 20 was 48% of the usual level. In St. Petersburg, this figure is higher - 56%.

Stockholm, Brussels and Nur Sultan turned out to be cities where the activity on the streets of May 20 was closest to the period before self-isolation. In the first, it amounted to 88%, in the capitals of Belgium and Kazakhstan - 75% each. Minsk slightly lost to them - 74% of the number of people and cars on the streets from level to pandemic.

The greatest activity on the streets decreased by May 20 in Indian Mumbai (17%), Rio de Janeiro (23%) and Mexico City (26%). In India, Brazil and Mexico, according to Johns Hopkins University, the spread of coronavirus is only gaining momentum: the daily number of infections in recent days has been growing there or fluctuating around one level.
