Nur Sultan Reported That All Delegations Arrived at Talks on Syria

OREANDA-NEWS. All delegations participating in the talks on Syria on December 10-11 arrived in Nur Sultan. This was reported to reporters by the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aybek Smadiyarov on Tuesday. “All delegations arrived in the capital of Kazakhstan”, said Smadiyarov.
According to him, the delegation of Jordan is headed by the ambassador of this country to Kazakhstan. “Bilateral and trilateral consultations will begin in the near future. Venues are being worked out”, the representative of the Foreign Ministry said.
The delegation from the Syrian authorities at the talks is headed by the Permanent Representative of the SAR to the UN Bashar Jaafari. The delegation includes, in particular, the ambassador of the republic in Moscow, Riad Haddad. It's noted that first, representatives of the Syrian authorities will hold a meeting with Russian colleagues.
The delegation of the armed Syrian opposition in the negotiations consists of 12 people. It is headed by Ahmed Touma, who, since 2013, has been leading the so-called interim government formed by the National Coalition of Opposition and Revolutionary Forces (NKORS).
