OREANDA-NEWS Deputy Minister of National Defense of Poland Wojciech Skurkiewicz, answering during a briefing on the possibility of supporting Germany in the fight against the consequences of the flood, said that Warsaw is ready to provide comprehensive assistance to Berlin. This is reported by Polskie Radio.

“I would like to remind you that over the past few years, the Polish Fire Service has taken a number of measures to cooperate with countries that need our help. If the German side expects such assistance, we will undoubtedly send such assistance”, - Skurkiewicz said.

Earlier, in Germany, dozens of people died in the worst flood in decades. Many houses, bridges, roads and railways were damaged. The flood also hit Belgium.
