OREANDA-NEWS. The sociological service YouGov, according to the results of an international survey, compiled a rating of the most revered public and state figures.

The female part of the ranking was headed by former US First Lady Michelle Obama, who took the lead from actress Angelina Jolie. Jolie also skipped ahead and broadcaster Oprah Winfrey. The fourth and fifth places were taken by Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and British actress Emma Watson.

The male part of the ranking was led by Microsoft founder Bill Gates, followed by former US President Barack Obama, actor Jackie Chan, Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Alibaba founder Jack Ma. 

The presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, ranked 10th and 14th, respectively.

The survey involved 42 thousand people from 41 countries.
