Russian Air Defense Forces Shot Down the Ukrainian Mi-24 Helicopter

OREANDA-NEWS Over the past day, Russian air defense systems have shot down one Ukrainian Mi-24 attack helicopter, as well as a military transport aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. This was stated on Thursday, May 26, by the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Major General Igor Konashenkov.
He noted that a military transport aircraft of the air forces of Ukraine in the area of Kremidovka, Odessa region, delivering ammunition and weapons, was shot down in the air. "One Ukrainian Mi-24 helicopter was shot down by Russian air defense over the settlement of Gusarovka, Kharkiv region," he said.
Konashenkov also noted that the Russian forces destroyed 13 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, including two Soviet-made Tu-143 "Flight" jets in the vicinity of the settlement of Melovatka in the LPR, in the areas of the settlements of Zeleny Gai of the Kherson region, Bolshye and Malye Prokhody, Gavrilovka, Veseloye of the Kharkiv region, Epifanovka, Kirovsk of the Luhansk People's Republic.
