OREANDA-NEWSThe Russian Embassy in the UK criticized the BBC for filming a feature film about the alleged poisoning in Salisbury of ex-Colonel of the Main Intelligence Directorate Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia. This was announced on Sunday to Russian journalists by an employee of the diplomatic mission, commenting on media reports that in late October, the British Broadcasting Corporation began filming a three-part picture.

"It's regrettable that British journalists, instead of demanding answers from their own authorities to numerous questions about what happened, prefer to work on Salisbury in art genres. This not only doesn't help establish the truth, but also reinforces in the public mind politicized versions of British authorities", said the diplomat.

“It’s difficult to comment on a film that has not yet been released. However, we note that the feature film can't replace a full-fledged investigation into the Salisbury incident”, he added.
