Russians Have Canceled 80% of Hotel Reservations at Resorts in Georgia
OREANDA-NEWS Residents of Russia after Moscow imposed a temporary restriction on direct flights from Georgia, canceled 80% of their armor at the resorts of the republic’s Black Sea resorts.
Such a statement was made by the head of the Federation of Hotels and Restaurants of Georgia Shalva Alaverdashvili, noting that the restrictive measures of Russia significantly hit the industry.
According to the head of the Federation of Hotels and Restaurants, Russian tourists of the so-called “premium class” didn’t refuse to rest in Georgia. At the same time, in Tbilisi they recognize that the damage from the reduction of the tourist flow from the Russian Federation has already amounted to more than 700 million dollars.
