The Ministry of Education of Russia on Friday hosted a working meeting of the Minister of Science and Education of the Russian Federation Mikhail Kotyukov with the Minister of science, technology and innovation of the Republic of Uganda of Eliod Tumwesigye. During the meeting, issues of cooperation between the countries in the field of applied research, the introduction of advanced Russian technologies, scientific exchanges and training were discussed.

"Among the priority areas of cooperation are projects in agriculture, mining and processing of minerals, technologies of space monitoring of The earth's surface, biotechnology, chemistry and petrochemistry, peaceful use of nuclear energy," the report says. In addition, the countries intend to cooperate in the field of training in agricultural Sciences, the development of training courses adapted to the conditions of Uganda. The wildlife authority of Uganda (UWA) on February 18 announced the salvation of the Nile crocodile in the village of Ning province Nakasongola. This is reported by Daily Monitor Uganda.
