OREANDA-NEWS Director of the Third Asia Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Nikolai Nozdrev said that Japanese companies continuing to work in Russia will be created favorable conditions. Nozdrev said this in an interview with the Japanese news agency Kyodo Tsushin, published by the press service of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Gazeta.ru reported.

According to him, "the doors remain open for the companies that have stopped their business in Russia indefinitely. However, those companies which have already left permanently, in the future it will be extremely difficult to restore the lost positions here.

Speaking about Japanese payment for Russian liquefied natural gas in rubles, Nozdrev said Moscow has long suggested that its partners increase the share of mutual settlements in national currencies.

Last week, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the Eurovision contest showed that humiliating Europe is now a trend.
