Thousands of Americans quit the Republican Party after the storming of the Capitol
The states reporting refusal to register voters have reportedly dropped 30,000 fewer registered Republican supporters. There are Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Maryland, Florida and several others.
It is noted that this may be the tip of the iceberg and testify to a disappointing forecast for the Republican Party. The Republicans lost the presidential race and failed to maintain a majority in the Senate, the upper house of the American parliament.
Protesters supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol Building and surrounded the Senate Hall on January 6. The Senate and the House of Representatives interrupted a meeting at which it was planned to approve the results of the last elections. Dozens of people were detained, five people were killed.
