OREANDA-NEWS.The eruption of the highest active volcano of Eurasia - Klyuchevskaya began in Kamchatka. Klyuchevskaya Sopka erupts every three to five years. The last major eruption was recorded in 2015. 

Ash emissions have not yet been observed, but in the near future we can expect extended ash plumes, dangerous for aviation, and ash falls in the area of the volcano. 

Klyuchevskaya is the highest active volcano in Eurasia, its height is 4.75 thousand meters. The nearest settlement - the village of Klyuchi - is located 30 kilometers away.
