Since the entry into force of the indefinite ceasefire, 73 people have become victims of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by TASS with reference to the human rights ombudsman in the DPR, Marya Morozova.

We are talking about an agreement concluded on July 27, 2020 between representatives of Ukraine, Russia and the OSCE on measures to strengthen the ceasefire regime. This attempt to comply with the agreement was the 21st since the beginning of the conflict.

According to the Ombudsman, during this period, 68 servicemen and five civilians, including one child, were killed under shelling by the Ukrainian army. The number of militias injured was 84, civilians 15.

Earlier, the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced the number of its servicemen who died in battles with the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass since the beginning of 2014. According to the military, over the past seven years, 2,705 Ukrainian soldiers and officers have died in the armed conflict, and another 10,280 have been injured. At the same time, the statistics did not include cases when servicemen were blown up by mines and other explosive devices.

On July 30, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Donbass. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the Zvezda TV channel with reference to the office of the head of the republic.

It is noted that in the Donbass, the Ukrainian leader plans to meet with the military.

In addition, Zelensky will also hold a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine there for the first time.
