OREANDA-NEWS  The press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov said that Russia is ready to supply gas via the Nord Stream in full, but Europe must return the repaired turbines.

Peskov stressed that Moscow remains a reliable supplier, but from a technological point of view, the mechanical infrastructure of the pipeline has suffered due to the sanctions of the European Union (EU). In particular, the turbines require major repairs.

"Some turbines cannot be returned. The Europeans do not return them to their place. This is the reason that there is simply nothing to pump. This is a man-made crisis. It was created by the hands of the EU," Peskov said and noted that by repairing and returning the necessary equipment to its place, Europe will fulfill the condition for the resumption of Russian gas supplies.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Germany would do everything to eliminate the technical reasons for the reduction of supplies via the Nord Stream. According to him, the country will closely monitor the supply situation.
