OREANDA-NEWS. A crew of three people died during a hard landing of the military helicopter Mi-8 of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the Moscow Region. This was reported by RIA Novosti information agency with a reference to a representative of emergency service.

It is known that the helicopter made a hard landing on Tuesday evening during a training flight 20 kilometers from the town of Klin. According to the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the flight was carried out without ammunition.

Members of a search team found two black boxes at the scene of the incident; both are in satisfactory condition. According to preliminary information, the cause of the disaster could be a technical malfunction.

The special commission of the High Command of the Russian Aerospace Forces arrived in the scene.
