OREANDA-NEWS   US President Donald Trump said that he was sending the military to the southern border of the country to protect American territory from a caravan of migrants. The head of state wrote about it on Thursday, October 25, on his Twitter page.

According to Trump, the head of the national Council of border patrol Brandon Judd was right when he said that the laws initiated by the Democrats complicate the stop of migrants at the border.

"Brandon Judd of the National Border Patrol Council is right when he says that the Democrat inspired laws make it tough for us to stop people at the Border. MUST BE CHANDED, but I am bringing out the military for this National Emergency. They will be stopped!" – he wrote.

Earlier, Secretary of state Mike Pompeo said that a caravan of illegal immigrants from Honduras, moving through the territory of Mexico, "under no circumstances" will not cross the border of the United States.

Earlier, Trump promised to cut financial aid to Latin America because of the migrant March. In particular, he threatened Honduras.

In mid-October, it was reported that about three thousand migrants had crossed the border between Honduras and Guatemala and were heading North towards Mexico. Later they were joined by about 1.3 thousand people. The movement, called the "March of migrants", is not spontaneous — it has organizers. The Guatemalan police could not stop the Hondurans, whose goal is to get to the United States or to seek asylum from the Mexican authorities.

On October 24, it became known that the second caravan of thousands of migrants moved from Guatemala to the United States. Trump himself also claimed that in the caravan heading to the southern border of the United States, there are criminals and unknown residents of the Middle East.
