OREANDA-NEWS. Turkey does not support any of the parties in the crisis between Russia and Ukraine, but is ready to support diplomatic efforts to resolve it. This was stated by the head of the Turkish Foreign Ministry Mevlut Cavusoglu.

Cavusoglu said on the air of the NTV channel: "Now there are problems in Donbass, but there are Minsk agreements. We offer the parties to solve this problem peacefully and diplomatically. Turkey supports the territorial integrity of any country - Ukraine, Russia and everyone else. And we have relations we are building both with Russia and with Ukraine. Our relations between each of the countries should not affect relations with other countries. In the misunderstanding between Ukraine and Russia, we do not support any side. "

He added that Turkey's policy is "clear on all issues, including the Crimea."

"We sincerely and openly share our considerations with both sides, we have a constructive policy. Now the situation has begun to defuse, which makes us happy. Turkey is ready to contribute to this process," the Turkish minister said.

The press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov also stated that Russia, not being a party to the conflict, cannot ensure a comprehensive ceasefire in the Donbass, but uses its influence to implement the agreements.
