OREANDA-NEWS The Commissioner for Human Rights of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic Daria Morozova said that at the last meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on Donbass, representatives of Ukraine agreed to unblock the delivery of humanitarian aid to Donbass from April 15. This information is reported by the TASS agency.

Morozova spoke at the Novotroitskoye - Yelenovka checkpoint on the demarcation line in the region. For the past two months, it has remained blocked by Kiev without explanation. Now the International Committee of the Red Cross will be able to deliver aid to the territory of the republic via a direct channel.

At the same time, Morozova stressed that it is too early to talk about a complete stabilization of the situation with the supply of aid from the Ukrainian territory, since the representatives of Kiev could not name any intelligible reasons for the decision either to block the checkpoint or to open it.
