OREANDA-NEWS  43% of Ukrainian citizens supported the idea of ​​the country's joining NATO. This is evidenced by the data of a sociological study on the attitude of the Ukrainian society to the escalation of the conflict in Donbass. The poll was conducted by the Ukrainian Institute of the Future with the assistance of New Image Marketing Groups.

According to the survey, the results of which were presented in the Interfax-Ukraine agency, 21% of respondents indicated that they rather support Ukraine's joining the alliance, 7% rather do not support, 12% do not support at all, 12% do not have a clear opinion about this question.

7% of survey participants are confident that Ukraine will join NATO in the near future - by the end of 2021, 28% believe that joining the alliance as a whole is possible, 37% believe that this will not happen in the coming years. 14% considered joining NATO unlikely, another 14% do not believe in Ukraine's joining the alliance.
