OREANDA-NEWS  Over the past day, the Ukrainian armed forces violated the ceasefire in Donbass six times, shelling several settlements under the control of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic. This information is reported in the Telegram channel of the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the Ceasefire.

According to observers, more than 60 shells from grenade launchers and large-caliber mortars were fired across the republic. This led to the shutdown of transformer substations, as well as damage to outbuildings and windows of residential buildings in Donetsk, Horlivka, Yakovlevka, Aleksandrovka and Spartak. Victims and injuries in the attack were avoided.

During the reporting period, representatives of the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) recorded only two cases of ceasefire violations by the Armed Forces of Ukraine: shells fell in the town of Zolote and the village of Novoshkotovskoye. There were no reports of casualties or any serious damage.

In turn, Ukraine accused the militia of six episodes of shelling of territory under its control, including from anti-tank missile systems, anti-aircraft guns and large-caliber mortars. “There have been no combat casualties among our defenders over the past day,” states the Facebook page of the Ukrainian Joint Forces Operation Headquarters.

Another aggravation of the situation in Donbass began at the end of March. Ukraine and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics accuse each other of intensifying shelling, conducting reconnaissance activities and moving military equipment around the contact line.
